Here is a little information on each pack that may help you choose which one you want your wolf to be in. I am doing this mainly for my own amusement, but all of this is true. ^^
Here is a simple map that I spent about 30 minutes on, hope this clears up where the territories exactly are:
In the middle of the 6 territories, there is a meeting place called Moon Tree. Here is where the pack's ancestors used to meet every a full moon. The moon tree is an old tree that was struck by lightning years ago, giving it an odd whitish looking color.
Here are the 5 territories. (I am not including loners', since it can change any second.)
Cougar Creek Pack:
Cougar Creek struggles the most to get by out of all of the packs. There has recently been a fire, created by man, that destroyed 1/3 of the pack's territory. There isn't a lot of food here, mainly just fish with the occasional deer. Most of the pack starved either or left. It's up to you to bring the Cougar Creek Pack back to the top.
Neighbors: Rosewood & Blacktail
Cougar Creek-
This is the creek that Cougar Creek Pack was named after. It is loaded with bass and salmon. You can also sometimes find deer here. But your not the only one out for a hunt. Bears and Cougars hunt here, as well as men.
Territory:
Burned Forest-
This is a forest that has been burned by fire, caused by men. There's hardly ever any prey here, because there's no living vegetation.
Dry Riverbed-
This is a dried up riverbed in the heart of Cougar Creek's territory. It only fills up with water once there has been a storm. Sometimes you can find some small prey here.
Yellowstone Delta Pack:
These wolves live where the forest meets the desert. This territory is the most plentiful of the packs and there are tons of deer and elk to hunt.
Neighbors: Loner territory and Darksands
Territory:
River Delta-
This is where the Boulder River opens out and forms a big lake, and then spills out to make the river again. You can find lots of prey here.
Oak Tree Woods-
This is a wooded area filled with oak trees. There's always lots of prey here. It also is one of the borders of the territory.
Poppy Hill-
This is a hill covered in poppies during the spring. Deer come up here a lot to eat the wildflowers and grass.
Blacktail Pack-
The Blacktail wolves are the smallest of all the wolves. Their territory is pretty small compared to the others.
Neighbors: Darksands & Cougar Creek
Pine Forest-
This is a forest of pine trees that takes up about a fourth of Blacktail Pack's territory. The only prey you can find here are squirrels and the occasional rabbit. The very edges have been licked by the fire that started in Cougar Creek.
Trout Lake-This is a small lake filled with trout. There's lots of deer here that come to drink from the lake.
Rosewood Pack:
Rosewood is on a grassy plain. The wolves from this area are the most beautiful of the wolves and the best healers.
Neighbors: Loner Territory & Cougar Creek
The Meadow-
This is a small lake filled with trout. There's lots of deer here that come to drink from the lake.
The Cabin-
This is where a man lives. He has a dog that will try to attack you or chase you away. There's never any prey here, but sometimes there will be something in the trash can that you could eat.
Boulder River-
This is a river that cuts through Rosewood Pack's territory. There's lots of prey here that come to drink water.
Darksands:
This is a very hot and dry desert. Anyone can come here, but who would want to ?
Neighbors: Blacktail & Yellowstone Delta
The Desert-
This makes up most of the Darksands. You must have brain damage to come here. Most wolves die of hunger or thirst since there is no water and very little prey.
BlackBlood's Hideout-
This is the BlackBlood's camp.
This cave is the only real shelter from the harsh sun out here.
The cave is very large and even has a small river flowing in the back of it- the closest water source other than that is miles away in Yellowstone Delta.
If you aren't a BlackBlood I recommend you don't come here....
