This is a big meadow in the middle of Rosewood Pack's territory. There's always some deer and lots of mice and ground hogs here.

Lyla bounds in and turns around, but Ryn hadn't caught up to her, so she sat down and waited for him.

Ryn came in quickly, his tongue lolled out. He smiled quizzically at her. "Never knew you could run so fast." He panted, laughing.

"Me too," Lyla said. She started sniffing the air and caught the scent of a deer fawn. She pointed with her muzzle to a patch of particularly lon grass. The fawn was hiding there, witing for it's mom to return from grazing. *This'll be an easy kill,* Lyla thought as she and Ryn crept forward.

Ryn smiled, flashing his sharp teeth. The thought of sinking his teeth into a tender fawn was almost unbearable.

When Lyla was ten feet away, she darted forward, slamming her paw onto the fawn. Right at that moment, the mother returned to see wolves attacking her fawn. *Oh great,* Lyla thought. The large doe ran forward, forcing Lyla to jump back.

Ryn 's gaze widened as he saw the mother charging for Lyla and the fawn. Instantly, he leaped into action. He pounced on the doe's back, sinking his teeth into her, and trying to stay on at the same time.

While Ryn was on the deer, Lyla quickly killed the fawn and dragged it under a nearby bush. "Come on, Ryn!"

Ryn was bucked off of the deer before he could respond. His vision blurred as he got up and loped towards the bush. He stumbled when he got by her side. "I'm here, I'm here." He said, smiling.

Lyla started ripping the fur off of the fawn. After a while she started eating.

Ryn smiled again and dipped his muzzle to tear into the fawn.
(Oppsies. I'm sorry! I meant Ryn...this is what happens when you play too many RPGs. I tolf myself to cut down but...nada. XD)
