Darken Suns-camp

Meadow was saddened with grief. That wolf lying there, her snow white coat covered in dark red blood. She was his mate. He had not only lost his mate, but his offspring too. She was saddened by the loss of the little ones. Meadow walked softly towards the loner. His eyes were heavy with exhaustion. She decided to break the news to him. "She didnt make it." That was all she said to him.

Darken couldnt believe what he just heard. Eclipse couldnt be dead! That wasnt possible. "Tell me you're lying!" he pleaded to the wolves. They shook their heads at him. His heart broke. She was really dead then. He howled in anguish. "Please, take me to her. I-I want to see her." His voice broke as he was talking.

(hmmm, another idea popped into my head.... what if eclipse is almost dead and then when the others see her she says who killed her and then she dies. then meadow can somehow get the pups out and then the other wolves can raise them. i dont know. just thought it would be interesting ;D )

( That's cool. Who should I blame her death on ?, since I never actually typed she died intill after the battle I don't really know who killed her.... How about Fallen ? He must have been doing something while Rip and Rue were getting beat up. XD I like the pups idea, but lets only make one survive. More sad, but with a little touch of happy. )

Slade looked at Meadow and she nodded. "Can you walk or do you need help ?" he asked simply.

( Oh, and speaking of pups we need to go create Slade and Rusalka's. I'll get around to making mine sometime... How many pups total are you planning on ? )

(very good ideas ;D fallen is soo bad. the one pup idea is a good one. just PM me the name and look and other things of the pup. i'm gonna just have 2 of them. mine is gonna be a boy)

Darken shook his head slowly. "I think I'm alright." He got up, wincing a bit as the movement stirred his many wounds. He already knew the way to go because he got all the way over here before he collapsed. He reluctantly made his way forward, not knowing what he would find. He reached the bloody clearing and looked for the flash of white fur. He found it near their den. He walked slowly over to her, and didnt say anything. Instead, he got down and just rested his head on her side.
He heard a faint thumping noise and he lifted his head up. The thumping went away. He leaned his head back down and cocked his ears. It came from from Eclipse! It was her heart. She was still alive! Her breathing was very shallow though. "Guys look! Shes alive!" he called to the two other wolves who were standing nearby. His heart was filled with joy.

Meadow walked forward, stunned. She thought she was dead! Meadow kicked herself mentally. If she knew that Eclipse was alive, she could have helped her sooner. But Meadow shook her head and kicked herself into gear. She stood beside Darken and proscessed Eclipse's injurys. The outcome was not good. Her heart was very weak and she had lost so much blood. She only had minutes left before she would die. Meadow's ears drooped. "Darken, she wont make it" Meadow said sadly to him.
"What? That cant be! She'll be fine!" Darken was distraught. "Help her please!" he pleaded. Meadow only shook her head. There was nothing she could do now. He looked down at Eclipse helplessly. Then, fury shook through him. He would kill the wolf that did this to Eclipse. She stirred beneath him and opened her eyes. "Oh Eclipse" he said. "Please tell me who did this to you."

Eclipse's eyes fluttered open but she couldn't focus on anything. She could hear wolves talking, but they seemed so far away. She felt as if she was slipping, slowly, away from reality. "Oh Eclipse, please tell me who did this to you." DARKEN ? Darken is alive ? "D-dar...ken ?" she used all of her energy to whisper that one word. With that word she felt herself plunge a few feet into the darkness. She coughed and blood stained the white fur around her mouth.

Darkens heart broke into a million pieces. He hated to look at her like that. She was covered in blood. Her throat was badly torn and still oozing blood. She was starting to cough up blood now. She didnt have that much time left. "Eclipse?" he asked softly. "Everythig is going to be ok. You're safe now. I wont let anyone touch you again." He would get revenge on the wolf that did this. "Please Eclipse, tell me who hurt you. I will make sure that he will never hurt you again."

Rusalka heard voices from outside the den. She was still waiting for Slade to get her something for the pain. It was coming in waves now. She flinched as another wave hit her. She couldnt get up to get help though. She was stuck until they came to help her. The pain was very bad and she wimpered. She had one other thought before another pain racked through her. The pups were coming. It had to be the only explanation for this. She closed her eyes tightly and prayed that Slade would come soon.

Eclipse heard Darken speak again. She wanted to see him, but he felt miles and miles away. "Please Eclipse, tell me who hurt you. I will make sure that he will never hurt you again." she heard her love ask. She thought about the scene that caused her this pain, this horrible darkness. She didn't know who did this to her... but she could recall his pelt color, so she worked the energy up to whisper again. " big.... grey...wolf..." is all she could say before she plunged harder than before, deeper than before. Her eyes closed slowly as her body gave up the fight. Her breaths became more even and less frequent, intill they stopped completely....

Slade watched, still shocked that that loner-Eclipse, was apparently her name- had been alive all this time. He felt a rush of grief as he watched the little bloody lump of white take it's last breath. His stomach twisted even more when he realized that Rusalka could have suffered this fate.... Rusalka ! He had forgotten all about her in the dark den all alone. He wanted to go to her... but he couldn't just run off. Someone just died in front of him....but Rusalka...
"I-I'm sorry... I have to go..." he said before running off to the den. "Rusalka ? Are you ok?" he called when he got to the entrance.

Darken sat down numbly as he watched his mate die right before his eyes. He was at a loss for words. He just realized who killed her. The wolfs name was Fallen. Darken felt so angry at this wolf. He was going to get his revenge.... Another thought crossed his mind. The pups! He turned towards Meadow who was looking sadly into the distance. "Meadow! The pups! You can still get them out cant you? We have to save them!" Darken wanted to save anything that was part of Eclipse. Meadow thought for a second. "Yes, I can get them out. But it will be a nasty business. I like it if you could leave for a while so you dont have to see this. This is the only way to save them."
Darken nodded. He ran off into the bushes and curled up underneath a tree. Grief flooded his thoughts when he thought of Eclipse. But now, if the pups survive, he will always have a bit of her still with him. He wondered what they would look like and if they were girls or boys..... He thought until he drifted off into a fitful sleep.

Meadow closed her eyes and thought about what had to be done. She walked towards the wolf and bent her head down towards the wolf's belly where the pups were. She closed her eyes and ripped the dead she wolfs flesh with her teeth. It was gruesome but it had to be done. She continued grabbing the flesh, ignoring the blood pouring free until she got to the pups. She carefully opened up the sack in which they were in and dragged them out until they were lying on the ground. There were three of them. She licked them to get them to start breathing and to warm them up. Two of them were still and never moved. A little tiny she-wolf pup was the only one that was alive. Meadow licked the pup until it started to wimper and squeal. She breathed a sigh of relief. Even though two were dead, one still remained. She hugged the little wolf close to her, falling in love with her almost instantly.

"Oh Slade" Rusalka sighed. She was so relieved to have back with her. She winced again as another pain shook her. "I think the pups are coming" she said through clenched teeth.

Slade froze. The pups are coming ?!?
"Okay... okay..." he said, trying to stay calm. "What can I do ? Do you want me to go get Meadow ?" he asked, unsure of himself.

(just a special little twist how else is the lone baby supposed to stay alive? guess meadow didnt take a close enough look.... wait, whats the other little pups name and look supposed to be?)

"Yes, yes" please get her Rusalka said. She closed her eyes and tried to breathe steadily.

( Her name is Akira... jappanese name, haha.... she is black and grey with light blue eyes that appear almost white. Good thinking, btw. I didn't mean to put ?!? I ment to put ? ! ?... just so you know.... XD )

"Al-Alright." Slade has been aganist great evil in his life. He has been in situations that would have scared the crap out of your ordinary wolf, but now, now out of all the things he has been through, this momment would be the scariest. Slade backed out of the den and raced as fast as he could to go fetch Meadow. "Meadow ! Meadow !" he called as he got to the place where she was. "Meadow !.... Meadow ?" he asked. She was laying down, her head bent over something. He turnned to see the tiniest pup he had ever seen in his life. "Oh Meadow.." he whispered, looking at the lone pup. Meadow turnned and smiled at him. He could already tell she adored the pup. He shook his head. "Meadow I need you to go help Rusalka. We think the pups are coming." he said, getting nervous again.

Meadow immediately hopped up, disturbing the tiny pup in the process. It squealed in annoyance. "Here, I need you to look after the little one while I go check out Rusalka." She handed the pup over to Slade who took her gently. She loped over to the den where Rusalka lay on the ground. Oh dear, Meadow thought, it appears I didnt look hard enough. She had made so many mistakes this day already. She hoped she didnt make another one.
She looked at Rusalka. "When did the pains start coming?" she asked.
"About an hour ago I think. Maybe more." Rusalka couldnt really remember since it was almost a blur. "How often do the pains come?"Meadow asked. Rusalka replied "Every couple minutes now." After a few moments of thinking, Meadow concluded that Rusalka was indeed going into labor and that the pups were going to come very soon. She then proceeded to tell Rusalka what she needed to do. (i dont think i can do the whole giving birth thing ^^)

After about 20 minutes, Meadow was looking down at two little pups. She saw a big pure white boy and a slightly smaller grey and black girl. She wondered what Rusalka was going to name the pups. "I will go get Slade now" she said to Rusalka. Rusalka nodded tiredly. Giving birth was hard work. Meadow ran outside to meet Slade. She saw him lying on the ground, admiring the little pup. She noticed anxiety and fear on his face when she approached. "Theres two of them" Meadow announced. "A boy and a girl."

Slade looked up from the squealing pup and his features arranged into a wide grin. A boy and a girl ! He couldn't believe it. He stood up, carefully so he would not knock the tiny pup that was in between his front legs over. "Can I go see her now ?" he asked, anxious to see her and his pups.

Darken sighed he missed Ecplise, But he was glad he still had that pup of theres. If only the three pups made it. Still atleast one made it into this cruel life long time.
