"Oh please let me help and come see them!" White Cloud exclaimed. I must see how they are doing. Slade and Rusalka might want me to do something with the pack.

(haha I'm tired of waiting xD)
Slade walked back and forth in the dark cave. Rusalka had just began to doze off a bit, with the pups curled beside her. He didn't want to say anything or make any noise that would startle her and keep her from sleeping. He stoped and decided to lay down beside her. He layed down, curling his body behind hers as if he were this huge living pillow. (lol) He yawned and licked Rusalka's ear, enjoying the silence. It had been pretty crazy the past few weeks... it might be good if they both got some sleep. Slade looked down at his pups, who didn't seem to care for the silence much. Finnick bravely tried to climb over his sister, who was protesting loudly. Slade couldn't have stopped the smile that came to his face, even if he wanted too, but then he felt a shap pang of sadness. Because of his eyes, he would never see his pups clearly. They would always be a soft blur. He sighed as he watched the blurry shapes tumble over each other and eventually back to their mother.

Little Cloud and Meadow came back to the cave with some new herbs for Rusalka and Slade. Little Cloud dropped them carefully in a corner where Meadow could mix them up and crush them... She saw the two sleeping soundly and was careful to make not a noise.

Rusalka opened her eyes after sleeping for a long time. She looked down at the pups. Their eyes were open! She nudged Slade quickly, who awoke with a snore. She got up and looked at them. Finnick's eyes were a beautiful dark blue. Exactly like the night sky, she thought. Akira's eyes were a mirror image of her own. She wondered what color eyes Akela had. (hint hint ^^)

(Um whos Akela? lol sorry) Seeing them awake White Cloud started asking questions. "Are you guys all right? How bad was the fight?"

(Akela is Darken's pup. the mom died....)
Rusalka stood up. Her wounds were almost completely healed. She had a scar on her snout though and on her neck. Little Finnick stood up, wobbling on his little legs. Akira still slept curled up into a ball. They were just beginning to speak too. "I'm hungry, Mama" he squeaked. "In a moment" she replied.
She walked up to White Cloud. "One question at a time." She said while smiling. She couldnt remember the last time she had seen White Cloud.

"You know, I think that we could make it back to the camp tonight." she said. She turned to Slade. "What do you think?" she asked.

Slade got up and smiled at the two wolves who just entered the den. It had been a long, long time since he have seen Cloud... she seemed to have always been asking questions, and it made him smile to see she was still like that. "Good... morning ?" he asked, now confused. "Is it morning, right ?" he asked, looking at Meadow. Finnick crawled over his paws towards Rusalka, still wanting food.

She laughed at Slade. "Actually, its about midday now. You've been sleeping all morning."

White Cloud knew why Slade was smiling and secretly smiled too. "Rusalka thats wonderful. Im going to stay right with you."

Slade looked at Rusalka and smiled. "Yeah I think we can make it." He laughed a little bit, thinking how foolish he had just sounded a few secounds ago.

White cloud Left the den looking for some quick and easy prey. She saw a deer and decided it wouldn't hurt to try. She made a leap for it and happened to land just right. She held on until it died and brought a large chunk of meat back for Rasalka and Slade

"Alright" she said. Finnick was still pestering her for food. "I think you're ready for some real food now." she said to Finnick. He squeaked in excitement.

Slade smiled as he took his part of the offering gently in between his teeth. He laid on his stomache to eat. "Thank you white cloud." Akira woke up and crawled to her mother as well, sharing her brother's quest to find something warm to eat.
